I'm Rafa, a proud Brazilian who made the USA home almost a decade ago. My journey working with children started in 2013, teaching fifth graders and later working at an English school with a focus on kids.

After a period in the corporate world, I found my true passion always led me back to working with families and children. In 2015, I became an au pair and in 2018, after moving to Los Angeles I focused on caring for newborns. It was in 2022 that I had a profound realization—my true calling was to become a postpartum doula.

 

​I'm now providing support to new parents, birthing people, and all affected by a new baby's arrival. Growing up in a different country taught me to embrace diversity, shaping my perspective into one that values acceptance and non-judgment.

 

My work aligns perfectly with my belief that every person deserves support in processing their birth experience.

 

I'm thrilled to be a part of families' stories, guiding them through the unexpected with joy and compassion.
